Prostate Formula helps clear damp heat in the lower jiao. It helps clear prostate inflammation. KS and BI are
also required if there is kidney and bladder inflammation.
1. Prostatitis and Prostate Inflammation
Chronic non-bacterial prostatitis with prostate inflammation accounts for 90% of chronic prostatitis cases. It
is usually caused by poor microcirculation due to aging. Symptoms include frequent and/or urgent urination,
difficulty urinating, painful urination, discomfort or pain in the perineum, bladder, testicles, and penis, and
painful ejaculation. Patients can experience symptom improvement in 1-2 weeks. 4-6 weeks of treatment is
required for significant improvement. After the inflammation is resolved, an additional 4-6 weeks of LC
Balancer is recommended for sustained results. For patients over 50, it is recommended to take the Prostate
formula at half dose with the LC Balancer in the morning and half dose of Xcel with the LC Balancer in the
evening.
Qi Booster may also be necessary if the patient experiences a decrease in energy. If the prostatitis
is caused by bacterial infections, KS and BI are also required in addition to antibiotic treatment.
