Rotator Cuff

The rotator cuff is a group of 4 muscles that helps to lift your shoulder up over your head and also rotate it toward and away from your body. Unfortunately, it is also a group of muscles that is frequently injured by tears, tendonitis, impingement, bursitis, and strains. The major muscle that is usually involved is called the supraspinatus muscle.

It takes 3 - 6 medium FASTT Patches to treat Rotator Cuff tendonitis. For young patients with recent injuries, it usually takes 3 patches to heal. If the patient is older and the injury is caused by overuse, it may take a couple more patches but the total number of patches required should not exceed 6. After a treatment with 3 FASTT Patches, there may be 3 different outcomes, depending on the individual's situation. In the best case, the patient is completely healed and does not need any further treatment.

Another scenario is that the patient feels significant pain relief but there is still some pain left. The patient will need additional 3 FASTT Patches to complete the treatment. In the case that the patient does not feel change even after the treatment with 3 FASTT Patches, it is an indication that the patient may have cartilage injury or early stage osteoarthritis and 3-6 WHITEE Patches are required

Since both products are helping to heal the injury, not pain killers, a patient may not feel much pain relief immediately after they put on the 1st patch. It is normal for the patient to feel the improvement at the end of the second patch.
