There are over 100 forms of arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. These diseases may cause pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints and other supporting structures of the body such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones. Some forms can also affect other parts of the body, including various internal organs. Arthritis is characterized by erosion of articular cartilage, either primary or secondary to trauma or other conditions due to wear and tear. Symptoms can range from swelling, redness, heat, and pain caused by tissue damage or disease in the joint, as it becomes soft, frayed, or thinned.
Three types of exercise are best for people with arthritis:
» Range-of-motion exercises (e.g., dance) help maintain normal joint movement and relieve stiffness. This type of exercise helps maintain or increase flexibility.
» Strengthening exercises (e.g., weight training) help keep or increase muscle strength. Strong muscles help support and protect joints affected by arthritis.
» Aerobic or endurance exercises (e.g., bicycle riding) improve cardiovascular fitness, help control weight, and improve overall function. Weight control can be important to people who have arthritis because extra weight puts extra pressure on many joints. Some studies show that erobic exercise can reduce inflammation in some joints .
WEI PATCH TREATMENT
Mild / Moderate Osteoarthritis
For mild and moderate osteoarthritis at the joint of knee, hip, back, finger, etc. due to cartilage injury or childbirth, treatment with 5 - 6 WHITEE Patches on the joint area is required to achieve sustained symptom elimination. For aging related osteoarthritis, if the symptoms recur, another treatment with 2-3 WHITEE Patches is required. Patients over 60 are recommended to combine with LC Balancer.
For severe osteoarthritis in bone-on-bone condition which may need joint replacement surgery, the treatment with WHITEE Patch and LC Balancer can help reduce the pain and other symptoms significantly, and eliminate the need for surgery. The standard treatment protocol includes 3 two-week treatment sessions over 3 month peroid with two weeks break in between. For each two week program, it requires 6 consecutive WHITEE Patches and 100 ml LC Balancer, an oral herbal liquid supplement. Patient should continue taking the LC Balancer during the break.
Patient should get have significant pain reduction after the 1st two-week treatment session. During the break without the patch, they may experience a return of the pain. However, the pain level should be less than 50% of the original intensity depending on their individual condition. After the 2nd two-week treatment, the patient may experience about 75% total symptom elimination. The 3rd two-week treatment is recommended in the third month to achieve sustained treatment results.
Patient should experience a sustained pain-free period after the treatment and the time span of the pain-free period will depend on patient's age and health condition. For age-related osteoarthritis, if the patient experiences the pain again, they may need another treatment session.
